Type of soil: Calcareous-clayey of morainic origin
Grapes: 80% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir.
Yield per hectare: 100 quintals of grapes per hectare, with must yield of 65%
Vintage: 2015 vintage obtained from a careful selection of the best grapes of that vintage, chosen to guarantee evolution and freshness; the pinot noir, vinified in white, contributes to giving structure and complexity to the elegant and aromatic predominance of the chardonnay
Harvest: Between mid-August and early September when the grapes reach the ideal sugar ripeness, preserving fresh and dynamic acidity which guarantees great evolution over time
Maturation: Over 60 months on the yeasts, after disgorgement the bottles still rest in the cellar for another 5-6 months.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Intense yellow with golden reflections
Perfume: Wide, elegant, of great finesse and evolution, excellent with dried and tropical fruit
Taste: Rich and fresh in the mouth, explosion of fragrance in aromatic nuances, great personality, structured and long-lasting
Perlage: Very fine and persistent, creamy foam
Pairings: Franciacorta for every occasion, from large aperitifs to lunches of shellfish and tasty fish. Excellent with cured meats and cheeses
Serving temperature: 7° – 8° c.
